Korean Drama Filming Locations You Can Visit
Real, officially confirmed Korean drama filming locations you can actually visit, and how to tell a confirmed location from an unverified fan claim.

Plenty of lists online claim a location was “used in” a popular drama, but not all of them are accurate. This article only covers locations confirmed by an authoritative source — an official tourism body, a broadcaster, or a production company — not fan speculation.
What counts as confirmation
A location is treated as confirmed here only when it is backed by at least one authoritative source: the Korea Tourism Organization, a local or regional government, a broadcaster, a production company, or an official filming-support organization. Fan wikis, blog posts, and reposted social-media lists are useful for discovering a rumor, but they are never treated as confirmation on their own — the Korea Tourism Organization itself documents and promotes confirmed filming locations for specific named dramas, including publishing its own official guides to real filming spots.
A confirmed example: Nami Island

Nami Island, a real, publicly visitable island near Chuncheon, is the officially recognized and tourism-authority-promoted filming location for the drama Winter Sonata. It remains a maintained drama-tourism site today, with signage and features connected to the show — this is one of the longest-running and most thoroughly documented examples of a real Korean filming location that visitors can genuinely go see.
A more recent confirmed example: Twenty-Five Twenty-One
The Korea Tourism Organization has published its own official guide to real filming spots used in Twenty-Five Twenty-One, naming specific, visitable locations tied to the drama. It is the same confirmation standard as Nami Island, applied to a more recent title — an authoritative tourism body naming the actual filming location, not a fan list repeating an unverified claim.
Visiting responsibly
When you visit a real filming location, remember that it is also a real place with its own life outside the show — respect any posted rules, be mindful of other visitors and residents, and treat it as the destination it is, not only as a backdrop.
A boundary worth knowing
This article will only ever include locations that meet the confirmation standard above. If a location cannot be confirmed through an authoritative source, it will not appear here, no matter how often it circulates online — an unverified claim about “where a drama was filmed” is not something this site will present as fact.
